Type B Insert Nuts for Wood or Type B Knock-In Insert Nuts provide strong, permanent barbed threads in wood and wood-based materials, providing strong retention even when twisted laterally.
The rough outer barb tooth pattern of the insert nut ensures maximum retention and simplifies installation - simply tap the insert into the substrate.
Type B wood insert nuts have round face flanges that increase their retention and create a finished look. Rough outer teeth and flanges provide good holding power in through-hole applications, while internal threads ensure that the connector bolts can be secured for furniture assembly.
Available as standard in zinc alloy ranging from M3 to M10, other materials, finishes and lengths are available to order.
Non-standard sizes can be ordered as specials, including low-volume fabrication, modification and custom parts made to drawing.
